Franco Center kicks off new 15/20 Series with youth Halloween party

The Franco Center in Lewiston will host a Halloween party for area youth ages 15 to 20 on Friday, October 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight. Young people from all area high schools, as well as recent graduates who have not yet reached their 21st birthday, are invited to attend.

The party will kick off the Center’s new 15/20 Club Series, featuring events for area youth ages 15 to 20. Young people are encouraged to spread the word about this unique new series of events planned and organized entirely for – and by – area students.

All Halloween party guests are welcome, but not required, to come in costume. There will be a costume contest with prizes, along with music, dancing, ghoulish lighting and horror movies in the Center’s Performance Hall. Hungry and thirsty partygoers will find non-alcoholic specialty drinks and ghastly but delicious finger foods in the Center’s cavernous basement.

Featuring loads of tricks and treats, this chemical-free party will be the “it” scene on Halloween night. The event will be completely alcohol and smoke-free and a valid ID will be required for admission. Franco Center staff and board members will serve as adult chaperones.

Tickets are $10 dollars in advance or $15 on the day of the party. To buy tickets, visit the box office in person Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., call 689-2000, or see www.francocenter.org.
