Kora Shriners FEZtival of Trees opens Saturday

Featuring over 70 decorated Christmas trees, the 6th Annual Kora Shriners FEZtival of Trees kicks off the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 19 and will run through the following Saturday, Nov. 26.

In addition to over 70 decorated trees, the FEZtival will offer a silent auction room, craft fair and food court. There will also be plenty of musical entertainment for your listening pleasure, as well as special visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Every day is kid’s day at the FEZtival! Santa will be there every day the FEZtival is open. Come and get your pictures with Santa and take a turn in the fishing pond.

Admission to the FEZtival is $2 for adults; children 12 and under are admitted free. Kora Temple is accessible to the handicapped. Proceeds are for the benefit of Kora Shriners and are not tax deductible.

A Business After Hours for the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce will be held at the FEZtival of Trees on Tuesday, November 22. Catered by Fish Bones and Mac’s Grill, this event is open to Kora members and Chamber members only.

Saturday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sunday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, November 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. Chamber of Commerce Night (closed to the public).

November 23 and November 24: Closed.

Friday, November 25 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, November 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Music at the FEZtival includes:

Saturday, November 19. Tinpanic. Steel Drum Band. 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Monday, November 21. Bob Gendreau from noon to 1 p.m.

Lionel Mesevier from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Fairview Elementary Choir from 6 to 7 p.m.

Tuesday, November 22. Chamber Night

Qunitessence. Brass Quintet.  5 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, November 27

Christmas Tubas. 11 a.m. to noon.

Clarinet Choir. 1 to 2 p.m.

Present Company. 3 to 4 p.m.
