The Lewiston-Auburn Balloon Festival will be honoring America’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic “Red, White, and Balloons” theme!  

The 32nd annual Lewiston-Auburn Balloon Festival features patriotic specialty balloon shapes. The specialty ballons, known as American One and Flighthouse, flown by Barry DiLibero, will soar over the Androscoggin River this August.

Celebrate with a carnival, live music, and an extraordinary Maine summer weekend August 21-23, 2026.

America One, the U.S. Flag Balloon, flown by pilot Barry DiLibero, is 53-feet tall, 78-feet wide, and 530 pounds! With a front-to-back depth of 29 feet, America One is a stunning mass to behold.
