The Cities of Lewiston and Auburn are proud to announce this year’s Economic Achievement Award winners. The Economic Achievement Awards are selected by respective committees and are presented to seven nominees with one selection being a joint award from the Twin Cities.

The awards are presented each year to L-A organizations or individuals that stand out in their commitment to invest in the community and/or create jobs.

The City of Lewiston is pleased to announce this year’s winners include Baxter Brewing Company, Compounding Solutions and Rancourt & Company.

“Lewiston is pleased to recognize three local companies that have met with great success and have expanded rapidly,” said City of Lewiston Mayor, Larry Gilbert.

The City of Auburn is pleased to announce Bedard Medical, the TD Bank Call Center in the Auburn Mall and Provider Financial as their Economic Achievement Award Winners.

“The City of Auburn recognizes these outstanding companies among all of our successful businesses,” said Mayor Richard Gleason of Auburn and echoed by City Councilors. “The investment these companies have made is testimony that even in a challenging economy, Auburn’s economy continues to grow. On behalf of the City Council and myself, I commend each of these companies for their commitment to Auburn and am proud to have them as part of our community.”

The Joint Award, decided by representatives from both sides of the river, goes to Lewiston Auburn Magazine.
