This year’s program will feature Christmas songs from the United States, including heartwarming arrangements of many holiday favorites.

The Maine Music Society Chorale will present “Celebrating A Heritage Christmas” on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 at 3 p.m. at the Gendron Franco Center at 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston. This year’s concert will feature Christmas music from the United States. The program will include heartwarming arrangements of such holiday favorites as “White Christmas,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” as well as lively traditional spirituals and an a cappella rendition of Morten Lauridsen’s “Ave Maria.” The evening will conclude with a round of festive carols sung together by the performers and audience.
