LEWISTON, ME (February 1, 2023) — The Lewiston Public Library will host its first Blockbuster Movie Event in February. This event will showcase a movie that, when introduced to theaters, drew large crowds to come see it. This event will be free and open to the public.

Our event is Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 3 to 5:30pm in Callahan Hall and will feature a pg-13 movie set in a fictional-African nation with advanced technology whose leader has to juggle the responsibilities of being royalty with being a superhero.
